Jean-Paul Goude is a creator of images, photographer, and film director.
Since 2001 he is the art director of the department store Galeries Lafayette for which he created the Laetitia's Adventures in the Galleries.

Some of his famous campaigns include:
- Chanel's Egoist fragrance,
- Coco starring Vanessa Paradis in a bird cage,
- Three boys with a hat for Kodak...
In 1989 he organized the Bicentennial Parade in Paris. Among his muses, one could quote Grace Jones.
He is the author of two books:
