Alvin Ailey's Night Creature

Giraudoux gives a last advice to Madeleine Ozeray,
Laetitia, us, actors, "All of Us"

Giraudoux donne un dernier conseil à Madeleine Ozeray,
à Laetitia, à nous acteurs, à "Nous Tous"

Do not be an actress, descend again into yourself,
think of your childhood, do not raise the eyes to heaven,

Ne soyez pas une actrice, redescendez en vous-même,
songez à votre enfance, ne levez pas les yeux au ciel,

Ondine is an earthly monster.

Ondine est un monstre terrestre.

Jacques Weber, September 9, 2004

That's nice:
Now dance.

J'en suis fort aise :
Eh bien ! Dansez maintenant.

Ying and Yang

In the perfect complementarily of the Yin and the Yang:

  • he was in White (Yang)
  • while she was in Black (Yin)
    with her hair in plaits
    like a crown of Queen,
    the hairstyle she liked
for the release of the movie Errance.

Every eye watched out for the movements of the Night Creature
coming from both America and Africa between the Pink panther and the Black panthers,
announcing the "Revelations" of "Take me to the Water."
