Kacey is not a show-off!

Does Kacey prefer
the Lamborghini
or Laetitia?

On Jan. 11, 2010 Rafael Wolf knew what he was doing titling in Le Matin
about the young actor Kacey Mottet-Klein who plays Gainsbourg child:
"J'ai déjà une mentalité d'adulte". [I already have a mentality of adult.]

The Kacey's choice:

If you read it in second-degree, the interview is fun, except the comments.

The true Kacey is better described in L'Illustré thanks to Patrick Baumann.

There is a strong contrast between the deliberate tune of the interview and the associated video by Sabine Papilloud.

On the wall of the Kacey’s writing desk, there is a photo of a Lamborghini racing car
but not the customized Lamborghini Diablo VS standing for Victoria's Secret with the visual featuring the Angels:

from left to right Stephanie Seymour, Daniela Pestova, Laetitia Casta, Karen Mulder, Ines Rivero, and Tyra Banks!

Kacey is adorable when he changes his accent opening his box of treasures:

  • Swiss Film Prize Lucerne 2009 Quartz of best emerging actor for Home,

Kacey Mottet-Klein
as the young Gainsbourg
will shoot the spud
by Jérôme Brezillon

  • the gun to kill the spud [la patate] like that (he is firing off with his fake gun),
  • the fake cigarettes like for Laetitia and Eric Elmosnino who could not smoke thousand real cigarettes,
  • his drawing of the Doug’s mouth at the manner of Joann Sfar’s watercolors,
  • the clapperboard of the last sequence of his movie Home,
  • The English springer spaniel called Lulu, who follows him everywhere.
He won this dog at the end of the shooting of Gainsbourg (heroic life).

To conclude the video in the world of each day, Sabine Papilloud films him leaving his house to go to school
and the dog Lulu did not follow him as his shadow like the Doug Jones’ mouth [la Gueule] with Eric Elmosnino.

The best is the Kacey’s feeling for Laetitia. She lent her voice to the spider Charlotte A. Cavatica in Charlotte's Web
directed by Gary Winick and Kacey does not like a lot the spiders. But he has already an innate talent for the marketing ;-)
because he has the judment opposite to the Gainsbourg's son Lulu (read the related topics about Le JDD).

Kacey Mottet Klein: "Laetitia Casta, franchement, je ne l'ai pas trouvée jolie" by Bertrand Monnard on Oct. 10, 2009
[Laetitia Casta, frankly, I did not find her pretty].

However he does not speak out for the very pretty Ophelia Kolb who plays the model for the painters in the beaux-arts.
It is a Joann Sfar's typical idea to ask Kacey Lulu for saying the line: "I do not know how to draw a bra!
Could you take it off?" with a charming voice speaking to Ophelia who is getting dressed again.
"He knows about to speak to women," Ophelia thinks.

Lamborghini, and Haute Couture clothes...

The newscaster of TSR1 Info on Jan 24, 2010: "Lamborghini et les habits griffés..."

Le Matin, it was really of no importance!

Kacey: Le Matin, c'était vraiment n'importe quoi !

I am not a show-off

In the newspaper L'illustré on Jan. 20, 2010 "Kacey, mini-Gainsbourg, grand acteur",
P
atrick Baumann wrote about him: "Je ne suis pas un frimeur" [I am not a show-off]

Because Kacey has known his first reversal of fame.
He came out injured. He did not recognize himself in the image that has given from him a Vaudois newspaper that put his photo on the cover.

C’est que Kacey a connu son premier revers de célébrité.
Il en est sorti blessé. Il ne s’est pas reconnu dans l’image qu’a donnée de lui un quotidien vaudois qui a mis sa photo en couverture.

"I passed as a boy, who shows off,
it is not --in the least-- my character."

J’ai passé pour un garçon qui se la pète,
c’est pas du tout mon caractère.
Kacey Mottet-Klein

Patrick Baumann begins the article quoting Laetitia Casta who, --hugging the boy--
congratulates him during the Gainsbourg party for the Premiere in Paris, saying about his role in the movie:

You really played well, Kacey. Again well done!

Tu as vraiment bien joué, Kacey. Encore bravo!
Laetitia Casta
